Threads That Bind

 This is made from my new fabric collection Floriography. 

LOVE

I'll be making a couple bags this week for two girls in my neighborhood who were injured this last month. One in a bike accident and another in a serious car accident. I'm going to fill them with little goodies to cheer them up!  This bag is so easy to make and can be done in a couple of hours!

You can share this pattern, have a bag making party with your sewing friends, and make as many as you want! Send them to us and we'll safely store them for when a need arises! For examples of where some of our past charity patterns that you have made have gone, click HERE.

You can also submit a request to have our charity patterns sent to your area if there is a need. What a great gift to cheer up sick children in a hospital, foster kids who are going to new homes, or just someone who's in need.  Requests can be send to ruthiebemaude@gmail.com.

Floriography is Here!

 Floriography has arrived and will be coming to a quilt shops in the next couple of days!

 We're wrapping up the fundraiser for little baby Clara and starting on our free Floriography projects. We'll be posting them all month long!

So sorry about the delay in Floriography tutorial posts! We got a little side tracked, but for a good cause! Our friend, fabric and pattern designer Sandi Henderson of Portabellopixie just had a sweet baby girl in May she named Clara. Just 2 days after she was born Clara had open heart surgery. Sandi, her husband Dustin, and baby Clara are in Seattle Washington at a special hospital recovering, while their family awaits for their return to Missoula Montana.

I'm back from Market and I've had a good nap! Lauralee and I worked hard for weeks on all of these projects and we are so excited to share them with you! We'll be posting each of them over the next couple of weeks as free tutorials!

There's nothing better than finally getting to see your designs on fabric! Floriography is my first line with Riley Blake Designs and I couldn't be more pleased with how it turned out!  

Quilt Market is just a few weeks away and we'll be sewing like mad women to get everything done for my booth. Check in often to watch the progress and then see the booth in it's entirety May 16th!
